Casa Volante Hostal - Valparaiso

The location was perfect, with easy access to restaurants, supermarkets, and public transport. the staff was helpful and provided excellent advice on reaching the hostel. the rooms were spacious and came with free towels, and check-out wasn't until 12pm.

The noise at night was a bit bothersome, but the hostel did enforce a no noise policy after 1am.

Great staff, convenient location, free fruit and coffee all day, quiet at night.

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Volante! the hostel had a fantastic atmosphere with a hip and modern design. the common spaces, including the kitchen and dining area, were spacious and well-maintained. the staff was always cleaning, which made the whole place super clean. the bathrooms were spotless and fresh towels were provided. We also enjoyed the bar with its foosball table, where we had a great time meeting new people and making friends. Casa Volante was one of the best hostels we've stayed at during our backpacking journey across Europe.

The common area was inviting and a great place to meet fellow travelers. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area, with attractions, restaurants, and bars nearby. The spacious and well-maintained building had multiple kitchens and common areas, providing plenty of space for relaxation and socializing.

The staff at the hotel were a bit confusing and not very welcoming. It was unclear who was working and when, and some staff members seemed to be using the main areas meant for guests to hang out.

Bathroom cleanliness could be improved.

Separate building with own kitchen and living area shared with only two other rooms. Beautiful room, comfortable bed, good shower with hot water and decent pressure. Lovely breakfast with fresh bread, cereal, and nice spreads. Restaurant at the bottom of the steps with decent lunch for a reasonable price. Convenient for healthy/nutritious meals.

enjoyed our stay at a vibrant hostel in Valparaiso. Spacious room, clean linen, and hot showers were a plus. The breakfast spread was worth the extra cost. Great shared spaces to meet other travelers. Polite staff and a classic Valparaiso experience. Would definitely return!

Water temperature in showers fluctuated.

I recently stayed at Casa Volante in Valparaiso for a week and it was an amazing experience. The location was perfect, just a couple of blocks away from the metro station, grocery store, and main bus lines. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the hot showers were a nice touch. The kitchen was well-equipped and the added bonus of a hair dryer and towel included in the reservation made me feel right at home. Casa Volante provided a great atmosphere and excellent value for money.

Loved the fresh bread rolls and good coffee for breakfast. The cheap upgrade to a private room was nice. The staff were friendly and helpful. The on-site eatery made it convenient for healthy meals. Great location for free tours, just a 5-minute walk.
